Born and raised in Chicago, Kirk's early life was marked by the challenges of poverty, a system he vowed to reform to benefit the very communities he grew up in.

Kirk is a devoted family man who lives in the District and is raising his family in the 4th District. Kirk’s dedication to public service, his commitment to addressing societal challenges, and his determination to improve lives for an even brighter future in the 4th District and beyond.
Public Service and Leadership
Kirk is a sworn peace officer for the State of Illinois, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of his fellow citizens. In addition to his public service role, Kirk also serves as the Vice President of a private security agency, where he applies his expertise to maintain the security of both individuals and businesses.
Advocacy and Community Focus
Kirk's upbringing in poverty shaped his determination to make a difference in the lives of those facing similar challenges. As the State Representative for the 4th District, he will champion critical issues such as Public Safety, Education and Mental Health and the creation of a safer 4th District. Kirk firmly believes that access to quality education is a fundamental right, and he is committed to improving opportunities for lessening the burden of student debt for Illinois University graduates.
